Writing Prompt: Use Mood to Describe the Sunrise or Sunset

Introduction
Someone in my writing group gave a variation of this writing prompt, and I thought I’d share a similar version. I encourage you to give it a try.
Writing Prompt
Describe the sunrise or sunset in one to three ways using a different mood for each description.
What emotions can you evoke from your readers? I’ve shared my responses below as examples. What emotions do you feel as you read these?
First Mood
️The stars fade at the touch of first light. Fire emerges from the sea, transforming the darkened world into a vibrant marmalade. The undulating water shimmers gold, welcoming the glow of a new day.
Second Mood
️Rising from its slumber, the sun yawns, stretching out its rays. Sunbeams tickle the underbellies of the dark, fluffy clouds, coloring them from sleepy gray to wakeful pink.
Third Mood
Silhouettes screech with fright, scattering for cover as golden beams chase in their wake. A shady figure lunges beneath a bush, disguising itself as the foliage’s shadow. The overbearing sun announces its presence, growing brighter as it ascends. A frantic dark smear skitters sporadically across the water’s surface. Failing to find shelter, the entity shrieks as a sharp ray pierces through its center, instantly disintegrating. Daylight waits for no one.
Conclusion
